Can anyone advise how soon can one sell stock after buying it? Can I buy today and sell tomorrow?

Hello anon! You can sell it immediately once the order have been completed. This is usually what people call as Day Trading. You buy low and sell high.

Alternatively, you can buy your favourite stock and hold it for a long time to gain dividends. But do be wary and keep a lookout for their quarterly/annual financial report.
